Birth Control Pills/Heavy bleeding

Question
Hello. I recently went off of my birth control pills (September 13th), I started
my period the 17th. After my period, I had unprotected sex with my husband
almost daily, and thought I had conceived during that time. On October 15th I
started my period, but it has been EXTREMELY heavy. Far heavier than any
other time. I also have had sharp pains in my lower stomach which increase in
pain when I walk or on impact when I sit down, what is going on here?

Answer
Dear Amber, I would suggest that you go to your doctor to get a check up and consultation. Or you can go to a pregnancy resource center and get a free test. http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP.
Another helpful website is http://www.heartbeatservices.org and click on the globe in the upper right hand corner of the page.

I would be somewhat concerned about what you are saying as sharp pains is something serious. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know what happens. OK?
