Question
i am 30 yrs old and prescribed to use diane-35. i have finished 2 packs already. just finished the 2nd pack on june 9 and had my period. and my OB told me to start a new pack on the 8th day but i missed it last night. would it be ok to take the missed 1st tablet this morning( 9th day) and take the 2nd tablet tonight? please help me with this i really don't know what to do.

Answer
Maricel,

I really don't recommend the birth control pill at all. I have researched this and found many testimonies of side effects and long-term and short-term side effects. You should check with your doctor about the instructions but I would think it would be ok to do as you say in your question. Please consider finding another birth control method (non-hormonal) if possible. If you want to talk to me privately, please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
