Question
saw a programme a few months ago on channel 4 in the uk and it contained a video which sounded very chilled/oriental. the presenter said it was an upcoming release involving the production team behind one of bkorks recent albums. do you know anything about solo/tam projects by bjorks producers?

Answer
Hello Chris!  Thanks for the question.  I must apologize for the huge delay in replying, but I JUST got home from Iceland.  I was there for a week and a half for the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival and had the most amazing time of my life!

Anyways, as for your question...  A lot of people who work with Bjork have gone onto work in seperate groups.  I'm positive they'd be talking about one of the following three though:

A)  Matmos, who worked with her on Vespertine and toured with her the following years.  They work on new material on their own ALL the time, and their most recent album, Civil War, was released Recently.  Also, Soft Pink Truth who is half of this Matmos group (and has done a remix for Bjork) has a new album coming out next month.

B)  Mark Bell who produced most of Homogenic and worked on the new album, Medulla, as well.  He's part of a group called LFO and they had an album released in this last year, called "Sheath"

C)  Guy Sigsworth who had worked on her earlier albums...  He's now part of a group called Frou Frou, which is getting critical acclaim everywhere in the world.  Great group!

Hope that helps, all are worth listening to, so good luck on getting them.  I'm sure you'll like them.  Once again, sorry for the delay in response.  It was my pleasure to answer your question.

Warmthest,
*Manny
