Question
QUESTION: Sir, my age is 72 now. Cataract removal surgery was done on my both eyes 2 yrs ago. Before surgery was performed, my right eye vision is 6/24 and left eye is 6/36. After operation, left eye lost vision, right eye can’t see clearly one day after. But gradually vision improves and can see clearly, and vision is said to be 5/6. 2 or 3 months later, vision becomes poorer and poorer. I have met 6 eyes surgeons. 3 surgeons said ‘No Glaucoma’ and other 3 said glaucoma was present while operation was done. Now, my left eye vision is negative, right eye vision is first 5/6, now I can’t see even the biggest word at the board they ask me to look at. The doctor who treated me said intraocular pressure is normal now, but my vision is very bad. I was given Travatan (Travoprost) and Optipres (Betaxolol Ophthalmic Solution USP) Eye-drops and Diamox tablets. Before I use those eye-drops and drug, my visions is 6/36, now I am difficult to walk even in my house.
Could you please answer me the questions below;
1:   Can my vision better?
2:   Whether glaucoma is present in my eye or not?
3:   Whether my eyes disease is curable or not?

tHANK YOU for the enquiry

From you Intraocular pressure reading your IOPS are normal but these readings are with treatment also most important as i told you will be OCT pictures and also fundus angiography pictures have you send them in my email that will give exact picture of your retinal condition because even if your eye pressures are normal your retina or macula may be affected whicnh is causing lower visual acuity
