QuestionHello:
I don't know a ton about stock trends, but having worked for Pharmacia/Pfizer, I do know that Celebrex (a blockbuster drug, 2.5 billion a year), and Vioxx (Merck's blockbuster competitor that just got pulled off the market, 2 billion a year) are to two main competition in there desease state...owning the bulk of the market share. Now that Merck was pulled of the Market, and Pfizer has full range with Bextra and Celebrex, how do you think it will effect the stock? If Pfizer snatches up that market share, what kind of projections for Pfizer stock do you see, and in what time frame?
Thank you for your time,
Richard
AnswerBoth companies show alot of coverage, stock research. I find nothing interesting with either company. Trading on either company just shows that too many broker dealers kicked these tires until they fell off. I see no knowledge that you offer changes my mind to rush out and buy either stock. Everyone has made changes to their ownership long before this came up. They will move with the general market, and little change on them from a change in drugs coming or going.
