Questionwhat exactly is a blue chip stock?
How do you suggest I buy and sell stocks? (i.e. Buy a few high end ones or a lot of cheap ones)
What's hot right now and how do I look for hot stocks? Where can I read up on Hot stocks.
AnswerMike,
You should go to the local library and read over the Valueline. It has thousands of stocks in the book. This is free. You might want to look over the Moringstar book for mutual funds also.
You can also get information on the
http://wfnn.info site. Blue chip stocks are the standard large known companies. Cheap stocks carry more risk. I am going to recommend that you start with a good quality mutual fund.
