Question I live in Berkshire county, Massachuttes...I have 4 eggs in my bluebird house..the bluebirds are still flying outside..when do they incubate..does that mean one will sit at all times ...I'm a nervous expectant mother
Answer In warmer weather incubating can be intremittent as it is easier to keep the eggs at the right temperature. Usually there is a lot of incubation at night. Keep an eye on them as if there is little or no incubation there may be a problem such as ants, a snake scare, etc. Send your mailing address to walshaw1@cox.net and I will send you a free 20 page Bluebird book that will make you an expert.
