Blues/I need the name of artist or song

Question
All I know about this song is that it sounds like blues, but not typical delta or Chicago blues. the lyrics start like this:

"there's no time
to explain why I'm going
that's just the way it is" (it all goes x)

and then, somewhere in the middle, it goes like this:

"now I'm leaving you my darling
so dry your eyes
and cry no more
cause that's just the way it is with me".

I would appreciate your help and answer. thanks anyway.
