Question
louis armstong or louis prima i think
it goes... hi de hi de hi de hi
ho de ho de ho de ho ...etc
can you pls help me "i think i need it"

Answer
Hello Andy,

Hi-De-Ho is from "Minnie The Moocher" by Cab Calloway. Louis Armstrong may have played it as he was performing with Cab Calloway's sister "Blanche" for a while. But, it's an easy recording to get, by Googling either Hi-De-Ho or "Minnie The Moocher". I hear it about once a month on "Swing Kings", channel 974 on Satelite #129. Let me know if you need info on getting a copy! UK eBay is one place that might have it. Regards, George Armstrong
