I would really want to know, what is the precise classification of the genre of song "Old Fashioned Melody/Electric Blues" from musical Hair or at least some ideas where I could encounter more of such sounds. My first guess was electric blues, so I posted question in this category. Thank you in advance :)

The last time I heard this song was 40 years ago. However, I remember it as "Blues Rock". It's a Blues progression. I found the lyrics, but I was not able to listen to the song. The lyrics back my suggestion that it's blues rock. This song is not on every version of the soundtrack, but it is on the 2009 CD. If you're interested in Blues, I can make some suggestions to you.
