I'm a musician.  Worked on Bourbon Street during that time.  Used to feature the puppet act on my breaks.  They were so great. Somewhere I have their performance on VHS tape.  Gonna' convert it one of these days and upload it to YouTube.  They were from Yugoslavia or someplace like that.  When they broke up, romantically, that was the end of the act.  Too bad.

I believe the version of "Whiskey Drinking Woman" that they performed to was by Lou Donaldson.
