The name of the song is simply "Tore Up" It was originally done by Ike Turner.  It has been covered by people like Otis Rush and Bennie Smith (both very good versions, the latter being the best version I have ever heard it done).

"Tore Up" I think it's by Ike Turner but Otis Rush does a kickass version. Check it out.

Expertise

I don`t know it all, but I do know quite a bit. I know a lot more about older blues (Blind Willie Johnson thru Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry and Hendrix) than I do about Stevie Ray Vaughan - but you can try me about Stevie too! I do know some about English Blues. I can answer questions about lyrics, music (rhythm, chords, melody), language, history and geography of the blues. Sixties rock, especially "Underground" and San Francisco Sound, is a sub-specialty of mine.

Experience

I've written a thousand songs and learned three thousand more. I study Blues as a living and growing manifestation of our language and our culture.

Organizations
I've led three blues-based bands in the past: Swamp Thang (San Francisco) and Old Town Squares and Jeremy Saxon Band (Prague, Czech republic)

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science (Music) from SUNY/Regent's College - specialty in Music Composition
