hy, ive never played mah jong (real, Chinese, 4 player, mah jong) and im looking for a set.  It doesn’t need to be pretty or rare.  I typed in "mah jong set" into the old Google search and the first 4 sites that popped up wanted to sell me $200 sets made out of bamboo and bone and stuff.  ill probably fork out the extra dough down the line but for now im looking for the cheapest plastic set out there.  When I say cheap im talking about somewhere in the $25 range.  $50 is my limit.  Im not sure if ill like it or if ill get that many opportunities to play it.

I suggest going to Ebay and simply search for Mah Jong.  I did a couple searches and found some very inexpensive/plastic sets on both Ebay and Yahoo.  Depending on which country you live in...I am assuming you live in the USA, you can play Mah Jong online for free at many sites, including Yahoo.   I have included a couple links for you:
