Question
I need some big help!  I've been playing online checkers and am losing about every time.  The problem is, I think, I don't understand how multiple jumps work or how it's done.  The game will give me a prompt to jump the opponent, but then my opponent jumps me right away.(It's like the prompter is on his side!)  How do you do multiple jumps in checkers?

Answer
multiple jumps are only done if you are able to continue jumping the person's checkers while going forward, because jumping backwards isn't allowed unless you are the king. the closer you get to the other end the better because then you can turn your piece into a king.

The best way to win is to think at least 2 or 3 steps ahead, and by this i mean, to prevent a person from jumping you, you need to protect your piece from being jumped. And to prevent the piece that was protecting that piece from being jumped, you need to protect the protecting piece from being jumped. Sometimes it helps to buy your time until you see an opening.

P.S. I never really liked checkers and i wasn't really too good.

I preferred chess or chinese checkers. This way its more of skill rather than luck.
