Board Games/Vintage Carom Gameboard question

Question
I have 2 Carom Gameboards from the 70s.  They have hardly ever been used, in fact to me they look completely brand new, with all the pieces and original boxes.  I'm just curious to know if they are worth anything.  I know you can get one now for as little as $35, but my husband won't let me sell them on Craigslist until he knows if they're worth something or not.  Thanks for any help!

Answer
We have written a very good article on this subject, 'the value of boardgames'.  Most games, from this era especially, values are based on the "memorical values" of the game.  In other word the value in the memories not really in the intrinsic value they have.  A few of the older carrom boards have some value based on design, but those are from an earlier time, post-depression to pre-war.

Expertise

I can answer most questions about tabletop and commercial card games. I am NOT a good source for wargame or eurogames information. My favorite questions are what game is this? Where can I find this game or game rules?

Experience

I have been board game collector/seller since 1993. I am also one of the top ten sources for games and related materials on the internet.
