Board Games/Horses Board Game

QuestionI have my parent's Board Game and do not know if it has any collectable value. The following information I hope will help you answer my question, as I've tried myself (via web browsing) and have had not luck in finding the answer.
Top of box: HORSES
Trade Mark Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.
Modern Maker Inc., Utica, N.Y.
Game graphics: Red, Black and gold lettering with gold "flying horses blowing a horn"
Inside box lid: General Directions for "Horses"
E. E. Fairchild Corporation Churchville, N.Y. c1927
Top of board: HORSES
Trade Mark Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.
All + Fair Inc., Churchville, N.Y.
same graphics as described above
Inside box: Red, Blue & White cardboard betting chips
4 racing horses on wooden stands
deck of cards
4 "Make Up Boards" used as betting counters
The game is in good condition, although 3 of the "horses" have lost their tails. The entire box is intact, with each corner taped together where the corner had ripped. Also, the deck of cards "holder" is missing one side.
I'm reluctant to just put this game in a garage sale if a collector would treasure it. I know as children, my sisters and I spent many hours playing this game with our parents! Fond memories!
AnswerIt does have some collectible value, but the memories it has for you and your siblings sounds like it has more significant value to you.
If you or your siblings don't have a preference to keep it. I would try an antique mall to sell it. But don't expect a lot from it as it would take the right person to come in to buy it from them. Therefore they could be sitting on it for a while.
