Question
I was wondering if I have fiugres that are size 54mm how big should buildings or other objects be to fit to scale with the figures?

Buildings should be 54mm to scale.  Of course depending on the battle (like the Alamo or Rorke's Drift) the building(s) can take up an entire table top, if to scale!  Try this list for finding the right vendor:
