Question
Hello........how do i replace the water pump on the above mentioned engine? All advice would be appreciated, thanks alot, Rick

Answer
Rick if you are going to do any mechanical work you really need a service manual.
The procedure is too involved for this post, however.
Disconnect the shift shaft under the bottom carb.
Remove the lower unit.
Remove the water pump and replace the parts exactly as they came off. Don't forget o rings and seals.
Reinstall the lower unit and re-connect the shift shafts.
