Question
QUESTION: I have a three-wire control box. Can I use this on a two-wire tilt motor? Thanks

ANSWER: Yes. all control boxes use the three wire controls. Up, down and positive voltage. The difference is whether the trim system used solenoids or relays. The two wire system uses relays.

QUESTION: How do I wire the 3 wire control box to use my 2 wire tilt motors? I am rigging a boat with two 2 wire tilt motors Thanks

Answer
You will need the relays and the associated wire harness that comes with the engine. They vary a little from manufacturer to manufacturer. Get a service manual and follow the instructions and wiring diagram in it.
Your local dealer can get you the parts you need. You didn't post the engine info. so this is as far as I can go. You will use a relay system.
