Question
I am rewiring the electrical system in my pro-v. is there somewhere i can find a wireing diagram and a harness? Also i need to replace the flotation foam. any tip or suggestions would be appreciated...thanks

Answer
Mark, each manufacturer wired their boats differently. As for harnesses you can try the manufacturer, but I doubt you could get one, but who knows. Go to your local marine store and ask them for a copy or if they could make a copy of the NMMA/BIA wiring color code. The using MARINE GRADE wire and connectors make your own harness. The worse part of the job is the actual rigging and running the wire.
As for flotation you can get a two part pour in foam from most marine supply stores. They may have to order it as it goes bad if on a shelf too long. Keep it cool and follow directions. If you go this route post back to me for some tips.
I don't recommend other foams as they can dissolve if in contact with gas or oil, can absorb water and generally make a mess of things.
