Question
This motor will idol ok but when I give it the gas it just acts like it runs out of gas and will not go I can pull the stick back up and it will idol just fine. what do you think I can do?

Answer
Rick if the engine has been sitting any length of time I would suspect the carbs are gummed up. Also check ignition on both cylinders and spark. Use a timing light while running to check for spark and see if you lose ignition on one of the cylinders when advancing the throttle. Or take the engine to a good service shop.
