Question
I have a 200 hp Johnson Looper Motor. What is a simple way to check the carburetor float level on each of the 3 carb's
This is a l989 Model and it really runs great other than slow idle.Great hole shot and good strong top speed.I notice gas running down the shaft when I pump it up and it just seems like it is loading up.

Answer
There is no way to check the float level without removing and disassembling the carbs.  If you have a stuck needle or seat it will idle rough. I would recommend either a trip to the shop or buy the necessary kits and a service manual and rebuilding the carbs.
