Question
took out 6 nuts and 4 bolts outdrive comes off half an inch and stops.can you help with this
Are the trim ram nuts and shaft removed from the lower unit? If everything is off and it still won't come off there may be some corrosion. Put a block of wood between the lower unit and transom housing. Lift the housing a few inches and let it drop onto the block of wood. Maye sure the skeg won't hit anything. It should jar it loose. You can also gently pry the outdrive apart.
