Question
My speedometer stopped working recently. It has what seems to be a pressure or air tube running from the back of the boat to the center of the gauge. What is this tube and what could be wrong with the speedometer?
the sppedo works off of water pressure...there are two types, one mounted on the back of the boat called a pick up. two, a small hole in the leading edge of the drive provides water pressure to the gauge.make sure the hole is clean...use a paper clip??
