cant get it to idle  runs good high rpm bt let off and it dies tried cleaning carbs  opened fuel pump seemed clean diaphram was intact can it get stretched out? tried plugs,gas was fresh, tank was new, filter was free, when it dies have to choke to get running and thn keep rpms up

Hi

Your choke is the cause. Follow the service manual instructions, identify the butterfly plate and make sure it is functioning. The butterfly plate helps by enriching the fuel as it is required when the engine is cold. The plate connects to the choke lever on the outside of the motor.

Once the butterfly is fixed then the engine should be running as normal.
