The engine will run fine , can run for about 10 min. at full throttle and engine will shut down to just idle. at wits end

Hi Jerry,

Most common cause is overheating. It could be the water pump, blockage perhaps. Also you should removed the heads and cleaned them out. Check the heat sensor and test it is up to scratch.

One final thought is the level of octane your using in the fuel. It should be 87 octane.
