Question
Just a question. I have a 79 Johnson 35HP outboard, which recently has overheated to the extreme. I am rebuilding it and want to know if it is possible to put a temperature gauge and sensor on this motor, to aviod this sort of trouble again. Is it possible to get a normal temp gauge for it, and if so, how and where would I insert the sender/sensor on this motor?

Answer
Hi Theo,

in answer to your question. Yes it is possible to put a temp gauge and sensor, but i am not sure where to pace it on the motor.
