QUESTION: I have a 33 hp 1969, boat motor, when i have the boat in the water, i can give it , about half throttle, when i give it 3/4 or full throttle it die s out on me.  Curious if you knew where i could start.  I have already rebuilt the carberatour it is working fine.  Could the fuel pump be the problem.  thanks very much

ANSWER: not too farmiliar with that one, it sounds like a jet is clogged....fuel pump would let gas into the cylinder before starting....question: Is it a single line fuel line and tank or does it have two hoses???

QUESTION: it has one line and a tank, i do notice when i pump the fuel bubble pump on the gas line fuel will spill out the front of the carberatour.

ok single line, that is good the older ones had two lines and you had to have a special fuel tank....
you have either got a sticky, needle valve from dirt or wear, and misadjusted float  or  a ruptured fuel pump diaphram....sounds to me anyway....that is if the carb is clean and it is a fuel problem...when it stalls pull the choke..that will tell you if it is spark problem, or lean condition...when it is running does gas come out the carb???
