i looks like i have water mixing with fuel after the fuel runs through my VRO pump?{turns milky} Motor will only run for a few minutes unless i pump the primer ball. I was told my VRO pump is failing.

where the VRO pump connects to the block or crankcase there is a check valve, it is ussaly brass. it's purpose is to keep exhaust gases, when the engine has a lean spit, from hitting the rubber diaphram in the VRO.. the VRO pump is an oil pump and a fuel pump.. it works off of crankcase pressure and vacum...Replace the Pump and the valve, it comes with a new pump...
