Question
Hi my leg will not lock in reverse, this is quiet concerning as the leg just comes right out of the water then bangs back down.

After a 6 to 8 times it may lock in, and engage.

i am trying to find some documents explaining this as this would likly to be a comon accurance with older legs
Can you shed any light on the subject

Thanks Steve

Answer
with the boat out of the water you can inspect the reverse lock...there are hooks that go around a shaft to lock it when you go in reverse...when you tilt the drive up it pushes the rod down to disengage the lock..and the drive has to be all the way doen for the lock to engage..
