Hello, I have a Suzuki 40hp 2-stroke Older motor. Here in South Africa, there just is not anyone who knows about CDI + wirings. : My CDI was stolen off my unattended boat.  Have a spare Mariner 2-stroke unit. Question: Can this spare unit be fitted to my Suzuki; Wire colours from Suzuki coil and Mariner CDI are of course different. Perhaps you can help me with identifying the wires (which one goes where?) With regards,  JeanW.

 Unfortunatly I do not deal with the engineering side but with the vessel construction,maintenance & outfitting but i would suggest that you contact Suzuki & Mariner direct via email but the obvious  problem there would be them trying to sell you completly new parts but gotta be worth a try, sorry i could not be more help
