Question
This motor runs great at all times above idle. It will idle, but hits / shakes real hard. Never dies and runs out great. Plugs have been replaced. If I increase RPMs slightly, it is smooth. What can cause this?
The oil injection is still active and works great. Should I worry about this at all ? Since it is in working order should I disconnect and go to pre-mix?

Thanks,

Answer
does it have carbs or injectors...?? oil pump is crankshaft driven..the horn will beep if the oil pump stops turning...you can run pre-mix if you want..it won't hurt...if it has carbs pull and clean them...if not check at idle to see if you can find the cylinder that is missing....
