Boat Repair - tube question

Expert: Martyn Fryer - 3/11/2009

Question
I have a aluminum tube that was hit while i was towing it.Its pushed in about a foot. Can i repair this or do i have to buy a new tube.

Answer
Hi Myron
Without seeing it I can only suggest that you try strong suction pads on & pulling out either manually or with lifting equipment but if the damage is to severe it may split but you have nothing to lose trying
If not compare prices as to a professional repair, new tube or second hand tube(Ebay)
 Hope this helps

Martyn
