Question
QUESTION: I have a 1995 6 hrse Suzuki boat motor.  Could you give me instructions on how to replace the water pump impeller

ANSWER: first you must pull the lower unit off..the pump is there on the driveshaft..if you can get a manual to help..

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: that worked great, but I get no fire now. Checked the plugs what else could it be

ANSWER: change the plugs then check the kill button...

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Plugs are new. Kill switch unhooked, both of them.  There is fire out of both coils, no fire out of the module, is there a way to check the module? Don't want to have to buy a 250.00 part if I can help it!

Answer
you have a few items that are in the ign system..the stator,  it applies voltage to the cdi module, you have sensor coils they tell the cdi to fire,  and the cdi module..no test for the module just the charge coils...low side 50 and up ac volts,, high side 120 and up  ac volts,  you need a peak voltage meter to test it... sorry...
