Question
I have an alph 1 outdrive I am having issues shifting in and out of gear I have adjusted the shifter on the trailer and it works good. When i put in the water and need to shift it will go onto natural but not back into forward or back until some time.Is this an adjustment issue?

Answer
it has a neutral switch that kills the engine for a moment when shifting out of gear.....it is located where the shift cables connect... the lower shift cable should slide easy when moved back and forth.. if not it will cause the switch to acctivate.  then some one unhook the wires and it won't shift correct...
