Need to replace rubber coupler on outdrive, striped out splines. Step by step proceeders or repair book?

yes get a manual...you have to pull the drive off, then pull the engine out, replace the coupler and reinstall... when you pull the engine un blot the motor mounts from the stringers of the boat, so you do not change the slignment...you will have to change the shaft as well. check alignment when you do the job and install drive with a lot of grease on the splines..Have drive in forward to remove and reistall..
