Question
I have a pair of Johnson/Bombardier 140 4 strokes..submerged for about 12 hours in salt water..freshwater flushed, plugs removed, forced air dried and multiple oil/filter changes with short periods of cranking by jumping starter..what else???  Thank you

Answer
you will have to repair all postive connections on the engine if the battery was connected when it sank.. remove and clean starter reassemble...replace the fuel, if you get it started fog it heavely...drain old fuel/water from the fuel lines at the engine and purge with fuesh fuel...
