Question
1990 bass tracker pro 17 with 40 hp evinrude outboard. Starts, fine, runs fine at close to full throttle for 20 mins or so. Then if I shut it off, it won't restart unless I let it sit for 45 minutes to an hour.
you have to see if it is a spark problem or a fuel problem first..when you cut it off go you see or smell fuel when trying to crank it?? when it will not start pull the spark plugs and check for spark...if you do not have spark then the power pack is more than likely the problem...
