Boat Repair/Mercury 115 EFI 2009 Blows fuse

Question
The motor is 115 Hp fours stroke 2009 model.  It has blown the 15 amp 14 pin remote control/cowl trim/main power relay fuse three times. It happens when I change out of forward to neutral. I may have clipped reverse when I did this. It has done this twice. One time I was at slow speed forward and adjusted the trim down to the stop. The motor has about 20 hours on it and it had blown fuses on the last two trips. The alternator voltage is 14.4 volts.

Answer
there should be a shift switch on the engine to reduce stress on the gears when shifting...I would start with checking that..inspect all of your wiring at points where it may be shorting out..around the couling, under the dash...at the controls..It should still be under warranty..
