QUESTION: My motor runs great, but after the day on the water when i tilt the motor up to load it on the trailer gas comes out of the carborator`s till the run dry, but when i go home and tilt the motor back down and prime it again it runs fine while flushing it out and does`nt come out again until i tilt the motor up again, any idea ?

ANSWER: when you tilt the engine fuel will run out the carbs...

QUESTION: Yes, it flows from the carbs, i watched it when i had the covers off, and the carbs throat`s exposed.

Answer
the carbs have floats and needle vales in them..  In the float bowl is where the fuel is mantained at a constant level by the neddle valves...so when the enigne is in the down position the carb bowls are level and no fuel leaks. because the needle valves are closed.....when you tilt the engine up, any and all of the fuel in the float bowls will run out the carbs.    This is normal..
