Boat Repair/1978 outboard johnson problem

Question
Hello sir, Im writing in regards to a recently purchased used boat, it is a 1978 robalo with a 200hp Johnson motor (2 stroke), the boat was a great buy as i bought it very cheap but after a tuneup, new gas pump, the hydraulic arm and a new starter switch it now has a baffling problem (probably baffling just to me, lol) it turns out the boat only goes at 1/3 the speed (10mph), any idea what may be the cause? I don't want to take it to the repair shop completely clueless, I'd appreciate any input from you, Thank you!

Answer
If the engine is revivg up but the is not moving normally then check the prop..the is a rubber hub that gets old or stripped then the engine will turn up but the prop is slipping..replace the prop... If the engine does not have the rpm'a then check to make sure that all the cylinders are working ....
