Question
Drives nice at slow speeds, but will jump and hammer when turning or getting into it hard.  What is the fix and is it something that can be fixed for little $.  It has the 4 cylinder Volvo with grey lower unit.

Answer
There are two u-joints that connect the drive to the engine, with the drive removed you can replace the U-joints..grease the new ones every three years..and make sure there is no water in the bellows when the drive is removes because if there is then the u-joint bellows is leaking and needs to be replaced..if not the new ones will be just like the old ones in no time..
