Question
PLEASE HELP ME I AM TRING TO FIND THE FASTEST AN MOST EFFECTIVE WAY YO FIX MY DECK ROT. I HAVE A 1987 SEA SPRITE CONTINENTAL 24 FT BOAT ITS ALL READY TO GO I AM ABOUT TO REDO ALL THE WOOD OVER AGAIN, I JUST DONT NO HOW TO COVER IT .FIBERGLASS TO LONG LITTLE MONEY AND VINYL WITH GLUE, EASY BUT WILL IT LOOK GOOD AND LAST I AM SELLING IT SO I NEED HELP COVERING THE DECK AN ENGINE ROOM DONT NO WITCH WAY TO GO.

Answer
Hi Emiliano...Thank you for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

Although I'm not familiar with Sea Sprites my recommendation is simple. Do the job right or don't do it all. Hiding the problem may eventually cause someone harm, physically/financially, and put you at risk for a legal liability lawsuit. Ask yourself this question, "will I recover the costs associated with dryrot repairs and also make a profit when I sell the boat?" If the answer is NO, don't bother doing anything. Sell the boat as is.

Safe Boating
Ron
