Question Hi Grant, I really hope you can help me out. I have a song on cassette (stop laughing!) that I have all the lyrics for, but I do not know who sang it so I can try and find it on CD. Here is the first part and the chorus:
Oh it was midnight
And everybody was asleep
But I heard the music
And it had the Reggae beat
So I went downstairs
And there I saw my granny
In her PJs
Just a wiggling her fanny
And on the stereo
She was a-listenin' to Bob Marley
I said whatch doing
She said I'm Jammin (jammin)
I'm Jammin in my Jammies (jammin in my jammies)
I know this is probably not a true Reggae song, but it has a great beat and I really want to get a new copy of it. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated!
Thank you so much!
Answer Tami,
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this song. I did a couple of searches based on the phrase "Jammin' in my jammies." The only thing I found was a song with that title on a children's album by a singer named Francie Kelley. If I find anything else, I'll post a follow-up.
