Question Hi Harry
Is 50 to old to start bodybuilding, or at least training to look good in a bathing suit?
I am in decent shape but several pounds overweight.
I have a treadmill, squat rack, bench, and weights and bars.
I am really looking for something to do in my leisure time besides watching TV. Not into hobbies.
Could you give me some tips on getting started?
BTW, I do work out a couple times a week to keep from rusting out, and I find I need a least a day to recover from a run or hitting the weights.
I am thinking long term -a year - to reach my goal.
Thanks!
Answer It most certainly is not. An example in case can be found at http://www.bodybuildingsenior.com/ and he didn't start still his 60's! Actually it might be an idea to contact him yourself (as I get the impression that you're from the USA, and I'm in the UK!)
