Bodybuilding/Little Confusion on Principles

Question
hello how are you,
i have few confusions regarding bodybuiding and more i find about them on sites and pros views more confuse i became this is due to lack of base and facts behind it so here are my points to you to clear up:-
1)Everyone is suggesting even pro coaches that you need to continuosly keep changing your routine in every 3-4 months
now if im on splitlike back,on monday chest on wednasday and so on so after 3 to 4 montyhs waht i have to do do i have to create a new split routine for me,change the exercises i have been doing, change my entire routine and shift to other routines
2)on Bodybuilding.com they always prefer to increase weights or sets in workouts ok then start from 50 kg or 120 pounds of bench press dont we get to 300 pounds sfter 5 years and we need to get to 1000 pounds by 10 years or have to do ful day sets of an exercise because we need to continuosly increase our sets or weights,i know it sounds funny but i cant understand it
3)i just want to make and than keep a slim but muscular body cause i dont want to go to pro competition so doing heavy sets regularly cant we transform into Hulk looking creature within few years by doing heavy weight training like Max OT workout
4) my idea is to do split training like chest on monday, legs on friday, small muscle groups on next weeks tuesday, back on saturday of next week, shoulder of third weeks tuesday i just want to maintain this schedule and dont want to change the pattern i need high rest cause i am doing yoga everyday and dont take any type of steroids, supplements etc just natural but good quality vegetarian food cause i m a vegetarian is it ok because changing exercise on these days like doing dumbell press instead of bench press ok i can manage it but shifting entire routine i xcant manage it after every 3-4 months so suggest on this matter its the most confusing to me
these are my main confusions while other are minor which every one have and cant be avoided so i assume that you give clear and best answers available i defenatley will give you 10 on 10 and expert of the month vote .thanks

Answer
First of all, ignore the pros. They are people who have been training for twenty plus years and are now regular intakers of artificial means and don't even compete any more, the people you should be reading about are the amatuers (of whom I know a large number)

1) Yes, you should change your routine every so often so as to make other muscles work and to allow the ones that you have trained to grow
2) Ignore that, muscles grow by being destroyed and then allowing time for them to recover. My advice would be train each bodypart until failure and then don't train that same bodypart again for at least three days
3) Low Weights for High Reps will allow you to train for leanness instead of mass
4) Register with Vegetarian Bodybuilder (easily googable) as there is a forum there for bodybuilders who are comitted to a vegetarian lifestyle. They will be able to answer the diet question.
