Question
When I was 18, I was a pretty overweight teenager, at around 235, and after training for a year or so, now I'm around 150 with about 19% bodyfat still.  I know that eventually if I want to see any real gains I need to go on a bulking diet with my training, but I still feel really uncomfortable with where I'm at, so I want to go all out this summer with my cutting so that I can try bulking later this fall or winter.  Anyway, so here's my question:

I've tried a couple different thermogenic pills before (Optimum's Thermo-Cuts and just standard Hydroxycut), and while I did definitely get results from them, I'm sure there are better thermo's out there.  I've been looking into Oxy-Elite Pro and Universal's Animal Cuts and I was just wondering if you had any opinion on either of these two products?  Their reviews online both seem very good (although I don't like all the pills that Animal products seem to have, seems like a marketing gimmick to me....).  Also, last thing, generally I tend to be very susceptible to caffeine, hydroxycut especially made me very jittery.  That's what originally brought me to the Animal cuts, since it seems like you can just take that pill out of your pack, but this Oxy-Elite Pro seems to be getting the top reviews, so I'm not sure.

Any advice or comments? Nix thermogenics altogether?

Answer
Hi Joel,

The use of themogens is very individual.  What works for one person may or may not work for the next.  However I believe them to be very effective for fat burning and for energy boosting to make for insane workouts.  With that being said, I have always used Dymetadrine Extreme by AST Sports Science.  The energy I get from it is smooth and leaves me energized without the jitters.  For me it is the best and I have tried them all.  You can get it as ast-ss.com or any bodybuilding supplement distributor.

Good Luck
