i thought that nick was really RJ's father. when ridge went on his honeymoon with brooke, i thought that he was kidnapped before he and brooke could consummate their marriage. then thinking that ridge had perished in the fire, she seeking comfort she slept with nick. then ridge was found. didn't brooke switch the paternity test results in order to show that RJ is ridge's son so that ridge would marry her again?

Yes, Ridge is really RJ's father. He and Brooke did consummate their marriage right before he supposedly perished in the fire. Brooke might have switched the tests however the DNA test they retook in the end proved once and for all the Ridge is the father and not Nick.
