Question
Hi!

Can you tell me when and on what CD/single I Wish Every Day Could Be Like Christmas was released for the first time? I'm guessing it's either A Very Special Christmas or the Keep The Faith single.
Also, is it a band song or a Jon song?

Thank you!

Answer
Hi, Roy-

Boy, I actually had to dig a little for this one... "I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas" was first released in October of 1990 on the A Very Special Christmas CD.

However, according to Wikipedia, A Very Special Christmas was first released in 1987, and when it was first released it included the song "Back Door Santa" by Bon Jovi.  Later pressings of the album included "I Wish Everyday..." instead.

Bon Jovi, the band, is credited with the song, not Jon Bon Jovi, the individual.

Thanks for the interesting question, and Merry Christmas!

Expertise

I can answer virtually ANY question--personal or musical--about Bon Jovi and its five official members. I have constructed a time line of significant Jovi events that ranges from the late 1970`s to present-day. I know the lyrics to just about every song they have ever written and have most of them catalogued on my computer. I also have a chart showing all ranks of released Bon Jovi songs and albums. I own almost every CD, DVD, and video the band has ever released. Most importantly, I love the band and am always happy to talk about them with fellow fans.

Experience

I have constructed a time-line of events through careful research. I have watched and read countless Bon Jovi videos, DVDs, shows, articles, and books. I am a musician (singer / songwriter / guitarist), so I also know some technical things others may not know.
