Question
In my 401k i have the option to put certain percentages in stocks, for instance under Large U.S. Equity I can either choose :
Large Cap Stock Index or
Large Cap Stock

What's the difference between these two choices?

Answer
Keep in mind, I'm a bond guy not a stock expert!!!
They should be relatively the same thing.
One could be a fund of large stocks and the other could actually be an index fund.  An index fund seeks to mirror the return of that index while a fund of large stocks would have more flexibility (my guess).
A large cap index would be something like the S
